Terms we want to point out
The terms below may differ from what you expect, so we point them out separately. By buying, you expressly accept them.
The workshop is held by the Organizer, not the Operator. Your contract for the workshop is with the Organizer, the Organizer receives the ticket price, and refunds are the Organizer's responsibility. The Operator does not advance the ticket price and does not refund it in the Organizer's place.
You cannot withdraw from a ticket for a set date, and you cannot cancel it on the website.
If you don't turn up to the workshop, you don't get the ticket price back, unless the Organizer's terms say otherwise.
A ticket with no fixed date is valid for one year from purchase. After that it cannot be used, and you don't get its price back.
A gift card cannot be exchanged for cash, and any balance not used by the expiry date is lost.
Ticket codes and gift card codes can be used by whoever has them. It is up to you to keep your codes safe.
The Operator's liability is limited by the “Liability” section.
The role of the Platform
Organizers advertise their workshops on the Platform. The workshop is provided by the Organizer, who is therefore responsible for its content, for holding it, and for the venue and its safety. When you buy a ticket, the contract is made between you and the Organizer. The Operator is not a party to that contract: as an intermediary, it handles ticket sales and payment. The Organizer's name is shown on every workshop page, and you will find their company details (company name, registered seat, tax number) in the confirmation email and on the ticket. Only businesses can advertise workshops on the Platform, so as a consumer you have consumer rights.
The ticket price belongs to the Organizer, so refunds are the Organizer's responsibility too. The Organizer is also responsible for holding the workshop, for issuing the invoice and for defective performance. The Operator is responsible for running the Platform, issuing the ticket and handling payment. It handles payments and refunds on behalf of the Organizer, and receives your statements addressed to the Organizer, such as a withdrawal or a complaint, in the Organizer's name.
A ticket price paid by bank card goes straight to the Organizer's Barion wallet, and the Operator only receives its commission from the Organizer. Refunds are therefore paid from the Organizer's wallet as well. The Operator does not advance the ticket price and does not refund it in the Organizer's place, even when the refund is started by the Operator's system.
Gift cards are issued and sold by the Operator. When you buy a gift card, the contract is made between you and the Operator.
If the Operator itself organizes a workshop, the rules for Organizers apply to it.
The Organizer may set their own terms as well (such as house rules or cancellation rules). You can open them before paying, and by buying you accept them. The Organizer's terms govern the workshop, and these Terms govern the use of the Platform and the purchase process.
How results are ordered
You can sort the list of workshops by relevance, popularity, next date, newest or price. By default it is sorted by relevance. When you search, workshops with the search term in their name come first. They are followed by workshops where the category, the Organizer's name or the town matches, and finally by those where only the description matches. Within each group, workshops that sold more tickets in the last 30 days come first, followed by the more recently listed ones. If you filter by date, workshops that have a date in the chosen period come first.
Organizers do not pay for their position, and there are no paid placements.
Registration and account
You can buy tickets and gift cards without registering. With an account you can review Organizers you have attended, and see the orders you placed while signed in, all in one place.
To register, you need a valid email address and a password. You confirm your email address with the code we send you.
You can also sign up and sign in with a Google account.
Only you may use your account. Keep your password secret, and tell us straight away if you notice any unauthorized access.
Orders placed without an account are not added to your account later. You can reach them from the confirmation email.
You can delete your profile at any time on the My account page. We then delete your login details too, but we keep the records of your purchases and invoices as the law requires. Your tickets and gift cards stay valid, but from then on you can only reach them through our emails.
If you break these Terms or misuse the Platform, we may close your account. Tickets you bought lawfully stay valid even then.
Using the Platform
By buying, you declare that you have legal capacity. If you are a minor, you may buy with the consent of your legal representative.
Use the Platform for its intended purpose, and give true details.
You may not disrupt the Platform, get around its limits (such as the number of tickets per order), or book or buy tickets with automated tools.
You may not buy tickets or gift cards to resell them commercially.
You may not misuse promo codes, gift cards or payments.
If we detect misuse, we may cancel the order and void the ticket or the gift card. In that case the amount you paid is refunded.
The Platform's software, design and texts belong to the Operator, and the workshop descriptions and images belong to the Organizers, and they are protected by copyright. You may not copy them without permission or use them for business purposes.
How to buy a ticket
Choose the workshop, the ticket type, and the date and venue if there is more than one, then add the ticket to your basket.
A ticket in the basket does not hold a place yet. We reserve the place when you start the payment, and you then have 15 minutes to pay on Barion's page. If you don't pay by then, the reservation lapses.
One order can contain up to 10 tickets, all for workshops of the same Organizer.
Enter your contact and billing details. You are responsible for their accuracy. Before you send the order, you can correct any of the details at checkout and change the basket.
Before paying, you must accept these Terms. If the Organizer has set their own terms (such as house rules or policies), you must accept those too. You can open both at the payment step.
By clicking the “Pay with Barion” button, you place an order with an obligation to pay, and we take you to Barion's payment page.
The contract is made when the payment succeeds. We show the payment confirmation and the ticket codes straight away, and send them by email too. If you bought with an account, you will also find your tickets on the My account page. If the email doesn't arrive, write to us and we will send it again.
If the order is free, or you pay the full amount with a gift card, you place the order with the “Complete order” button. There is no payment page in that case, and the order is fulfilled immediately.
You attend the workshop by showing your ticket code, which the Organizer checks on site. A ticket code can be used once. A course ticket is valid for every session and can be used once per session. Keep your ticket code safe: the Organizer lets in whoever shows it.
Online workshops take place in Google Meet: you get the meeting link in the email with your ticket and in the Google Calendar invitation. For an online workshop with a set date, you give the name and email address of the attendee for each ticket. You can change the attendee up to 5 times per ticket before the start. The ticket and the invitation go to the attendee. You need to provide the device and internet connection needed to take part online.
A ticket with no fixed date is valid for one year from purchase. You arrange the date with the Organizer within that time, and you must use the ticket by then. The last day of validity is shown on the ticket and in the confirmation email, and if you bought with an account, also on the My account page. If you still haven't used it 30 days before it expires, we send you a reminder by email. After expiry the ticket is void: it cannot be used, and you don't get its price back. For a course with several sessions and no fixed date, you must attend the first session within the validity period.
The Organizer may change the date or venue of the workshop. We let you know by email, and your ticket stays valid. If the change doesn't suit you, write to the Organizer: you can ask them for a refund of the ticket price.
Sometimes a payment only reaches us after the reserved place has already been released, so more tickets are sold for a date than there are places. In that case your ticket is valid, but we talk to the Organizer. If there is no place for you, the ticket price is refunded.
Prices, discounts and invoices
Prices are gross prices in Hungarian forints. We charge no fees on top of the price shown.
We show the total to pay at checkout, before you pay.
If your basket meets the conditions of a bundle deal, the discount is applied automatically. A bundle deal cannot be combined with a promo code: you get whichever saves you more.
You can use one promo code or one gift card per order. The validity and use of a promo code are set by whoever issued it.
A promo code cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used with every Organizer. We tell you at checkout when you enter the code.
If an obviously wrong price appears on the Platform, we are not obliged to fulfil orders placed at that price. In that case we let you know without delay, and the amount you paid is refunded.
The invoice for a ticket is issued by the Organizer, and the invoice for a gift card by the Operator. We send the invoice electronically, in a separate email, and if you bought with an account, you will also find it on the My account page.
Not every Organizer can issue a company invoice. We show this with the billing details.
Payment
You can pay by bank card through the secure payment system of Barion Payment Zrt. (www.barion.com). Your card details are handled only by Barion and never reach us.
If the payment is later reversed by your bank or by Barion, we may void the ticket or gift card it paid for.
Gift cards
The value and validity period of the gift card are shown with the offer when you buy. The validity period runs from the time of successful payment.
After payment, you get the card's unique code on the Platform and by email. You can pass the code on: the card can be used by whoever has the code.
You can use the card when buying tickets, at the payment step, for one or more purchases up to its balance. If the order costs more, you pay the difference by bank card.
Some gift cards cannot be used with every Organizer. We tell you at checkout when you enter the code.
You can check the balance and the expiry date at any time on the Gift card page by entering the code.
A gift card cannot be exchanged for cash, and any balance not used by the expiry date is lost.
If the price of a ticket paid with a gift card is refunded, the amount goes back onto the card. If the card has expired by then, or would expire within 30 days, we extend it so you can use it for another 30 days after the refund.
We are not liable for any loss caused by losing the code or by someone using it without permission. If you think your code has fallen into the wrong hands, write to us as soon as possible.
Withdrawal, cancellation and refunds
As a consumer, you can generally withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. However, under section 29(1)(l) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), there is no right of withdrawal for contracts for services related to leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. So you cannot withdraw from the contract for a workshop ticket with a set date.
If you buy not as a consumer but, for example, on behalf of a company, you do not have the right of withdrawal or the other rights consumers have.
For a ticket with no fixed date, you can withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days of purchase, as long as you haven't used the ticket. If you use the ticket before the 14 days are up, you are expressly asking the Organizer to perform before the deadline, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the workshop has been held.
For an unused gift card, you can withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days of purchase.
You can tell us you want to withdraw by writing to the Operator's email address given in section 1, or through the Contact page, for example using the model form below. You get the money back within 14 days of telling us, by the original payment method. The ticket price is refunded by the Organizer, and the gift card price by the Operator.
If the money cannot be returned to your bank card for technical reasons, you get it by bank transfer. We email you a link where you can enter your bank account number. The ticket price is then transferred by the Organizer, and the gift card price by the Operator.
You cannot cancel a ticket for a set date on the website. Its cancellation and refund are governed by the conditions shown on the workshop page or set by the Organizer. If something has come up, write to us and we will talk to the Organizer.
If you don't turn up to the workshop, or miss one of the sessions of a course, you don't get the ticket price back, unless the Organizer's terms say otherwise.
If the Organizer cancels the date, our system automatically starts refunding the tickets: the part paid by bank card goes back to your card, and the part paid with a gift card goes back onto your gift card. If you'd like to go on another date, you can buy a new ticket for it.
Model withdrawal form. Only fill it in and send it if you want to withdraw from the contract.

Who refunds the ticket price
Wherever these Terms refer to refunding the ticket price, the refund is always made by the Organizer. The Operator starts and tracks the refund in its system but does not pay it from its own funds. The price of a gift card purchase is refunded by the Operator.
The part paid by bank card goes back to your card from the Organizer's Barion wallet. If the wallet doesn't have enough funds, the refund is not completed until the Organizer tops it up.
The part paid with a gift card goes back onto your card. If the Organizer has already received this amount from the Operator, the Organizer must pay it back first.
We email you when the refund has arrived. If you don't get this email within a few days of a cancelled date, write to us.
If the Organizer does not make the refund, you can enforce your claim against the Organizer. In that case the Operator contacts the Organizer, helps resolve the matter, and at your request gives you the Organizer's company details and the details of your purchase.
Reviews
With an account, you can write one review per Organizer once you have attended one of their workshops. We check this against your tickets: the ticket must belong to this account or to your account's email address.
Your review is publicly visible on the Organizer's workshops, together with your display name and profile picture. By sending a review, you agree to us showing it on the Platform.
The Organizer may reply to your review publicly.
A review may not contain unlawful, offensive, untrue or promotional content, or other people's personal data. You are responsible for the content of your review, and we may remove reviews that break this rule.
You can delete your review at any time on the My account page.
If you delete your profile, your reviews stay under the name “Deleted user”. If you don't want that, delete them before deleting your profile.
Liability
The Organizer is responsible for the content, holding and quality of the workshop and for the safety of the venue. The Organizer is also responsible for the accuracy of the descriptions, images and prices published on the workshop page.
The Operator is responsible for running the Platform, handling ticket sales and payment, and for the gift cards it issues. It is not responsible for what happens at the workshop.
At the workshop you must follow the Organizer's house rules and instructions. You are liable for any damage you cause by breaking them.
We do our best to keep the Platform running at all times, but we are not liable if it is temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, an outage or a fault on the part of a third party (such as the payment provider or Google Meet).
We are not liable for any loss arising from wrong details you gave (for example, a mistyped email address) or from someone else learning your ticket code.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events we could not foresee or prevent (force majeure).
The Operator is not liable for costs beyond the ticket price (such as travel or accommodation) that you incur because a workshop is cancelled or changed.
If you do not buy as a consumer, the Operator's liability is limited to the price of the ticket or gift card you bought.
None of this limits our liability for breaches of contract caused intentionally or that harm life, physical integrity or health, and none of it affects the rights you have by law as a consumer.
Defective performance
If the workshop does not match what the Organizer promised on the workshop page, you can bring a warranty claim against the Organizer under the Hungarian Civil Code. You can ask for the defect to be fixed or the service to be performed again, or, if that is not possible, for a price reduction or a refund. Report the defect as soon as you can after you notice it.
You can also send your claim to us, and we will pass it on to the Organizer. For claims about a gift card, contact us.
Reporting unlawful content
Workshop descriptions and images are published by the Organizers, and reviews by users. As an intermediary service provider, the Operator does not check them in advance. If you find unlawful content, you can report it by writing to the Operator's email address given in section 1, or through the Contact page. Tell us where you found the content and why you think it is unlawful.
Reports are reviewed by a member of our team, and no automated decisions are made. We remove content that is unlawful or breaches these Terms, and in serious or repeated cases we may close the account of whoever published it. We tell both the person who reported it and the person who published it about our decision and the reason for it. If you disagree with the decision, you can complain as described in the “Complaints and remedies” section.
Complaints and remedies
You can make a complaint by writing to the Operator's email address given in section 1, or through the Contact page. We look into the complaint within 30 days and reply in writing. We keep the complaint and our reply for 3 years. We pass complaints about a workshop on to the Organizer.
If your complaint cannot be settled, you can turn to the conciliation board (békéltető testület) responsible for where you live or are staying. The procedure is free, and the Operator must take part in it. You can find the conciliation boards' contact details at bekeltetes.hu.
- Conciliation board for the Operator's registered seat
- Pest Vármegyei Békéltető Testület, 1055 Budapest, Balassi Bálint utca 25. IV/2., pmbekelteto@pmkik.hu
You can also complain to the county (or Budapest) government office responsible for where you live, as the consumer protection authority, and you can enforce your claim in court.
Final provisions
We publish these Terms on the Platform, and they take effect on the date shown here. We may change them. Changes do not affect contracts already made: your purchase is governed by the version in force at the time.
The language of the contract is Hungarian. These Terms are also available in English on the Platform, but if the two differ, the Hungarian version prevails. The contract is not a written contract and is not filed. You will find the order details in the confirmation email, and if you bought with an account, also on the My account page.
We send notices about your purchase to the email address you gave.
The Operator has not signed up to any code of conduct.
If any provision of these Terms is invalid, the other provisions are not affected.
Matters not covered here are governed by Hungarian law, in particular the Civil Code and Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.).
How we handle your personal data is described in the Privacy Notice.
